In January 2008, I hope to fulfil a dream I`ve harboured since the age of 10 and row alone and unsupported across the Atlantic. The route will take me across 3000 miles of open ocean from the Canaries to Antigua. Depending on the wind and currents, it should take between 70 and 100 days.
Explore the site to find out how and why someone might want to do this to themselves and to see if you can help!

Anthony in boat

I've finished! You can read how I got on on the diary page where there's also a link to the map that shows the course I travelled.

Photos are on the More Photos page and videos are on the Videos page.

Best wishes Anthony, for your solo crossing of the Atlantic although why anyone would want to put themselves through this kind of thing, I cannot imagine. I hope the weather is kind to you and I wish you the best of luck and a safe return” - George Osborne MP, Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer
